1. SNIPPING TOOL WINDOWS 10

The snipping tool I have is:

NEW MODE DELAY X CANCEL OPTIONS.

The cancel operation is missing. I used it to capture a drop-down menu.

Is there an alternative that can be used to capture a drop-down menu?

    1 Opened snipping tool

    2 Clicked on CANCEL

3 Was then able to open a drop-down menu

4 I then pressed CTRL + PRINT SCREEN BUTTON

5 This re-activates the SNIPPING TOOL in the New Capture Mode

6 Then was able to capture the drop-down menu.

The following information is from 2016

    SnippingTool - Capture a menu

Special steps are used in the Snipping Tool to capture ashortcut menu or Start menu.

    1. Open Snipping Tool by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Snipping Tool, and then, in the list of results, click Snipping Tool.
    2. Press Esc, and then open the menu that you want to capture.
    3. Press Ctrl+PrtScn.
    4. Click the arrow next to the New button, select Free-form Snip, Rectangular Snip, Window Snip, or Full-screen Snip from the list, and then select the area of your screen that you want to capture.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Snipping Tool on Windows 7

All it is is one extra step beyond what is native to windows 10. Yes, technically it would be easier to have the functionality of print built in to the Windows 7 version, but you just have to save it ,and right click on it ,and print.

As far as getting the windows 10 version into windows7. I know there was a way to get the old winpaint, so maybe there's a way to get the snipping tool into 10, I don't know.

im curious if i could compress, and upload the application to this post? 7zip doesnt seem to be allowed
