I read Greg's ans. to a question, what impressedme - hewould help until it's fixed for this person's question.

I have been "DEALING" with my dilemma for along time, getting worse.

I have contacted numerous times! Microsoft, Dell, Geek Squadetc.

Absolutely no help/fixes. I am not illiterate to computers kinda .

I have seen several "CHANGES" on my PC, I did not do.

I own Webroot, Malware Bytes, AD-Blockers, Web security.

Some troubles:​

1. Microsoft "Photos" is a mess, no pic only a ! in the center.

1a. OH! so, so many "huge icons" duplicated from WHERE ??.

1. I have 2 user accounts - each one works different from the other eq. Office

w/diff. names.

2. . Originality I had C:\Users\Owner>hostname 'poof' Now --- C:\Users\Owner.000>hostname ----------- Why???

3. When I need to 'PASTE' info, the drop down menu has'only'thebox lines,

Nothing else blank.

4. When typing letters, do not come right away or not at all.

5. Email is doubling up the mail mesg.

6. Now & again my request in address bar , eq. 'Chase' comes back w/an

enormous 'CHASE' !!!

7. Some WEB sites lose their format, goes ALL the way to the left.

Internet Explorer 11 Synced Very Old Favorites ( 5 Yrs. ago items )

Hi People,

I were troubleshooting IE11 in my end user's PC. Issue is after resetting IE11, added Favorites bar.

In that Favorites bar, IE11 synced very old Favorites that includes 5 yrs of favorites. Due to this more than 1000 of Favs mingled with recent ones.

Please suggest me troubleshooting steps to follow.

win 10 uninstall after 1.5 yrs

I can't totally uninstall win 10 after 1.5 yrs! It originally worked fine till the last update. No saved ISO, bkup dsk, not boot, repair, reinstall will let me install any os. I want to go back to XP but I can't get win 10 off machine w/o clean (write 0's)
to HD, WOW-MS has taken total control of home PC's. My pc boots fine in bios, but goes to win 10 then says can't repair and shuts down. Have done all web suggestions.

Need Serious Help: How To Record Video of What is Done on my PC?

I suggest the following simple steps:

1. Set the autosave options in MS Office to a low value say 5 minutes.
2. Setup file history to autosave frequently - the shortest period is 5 mins
3. Install Macrium Reflect Free and configure it to do a daily incremental system backup

You should be well covered if you do the above to protect your key files.
