Windows 10: So many issues with Windows 11

Ever since updating to Windows 11, so many things are wrong with my computer. My computer is brand new. It was bought earlier this year and is a Lenovo Ideapad 3. It has 8GB of ram and is pretty decent. Please note that I literally have 7.75 GB of ram usable. I have barely anything on this computer. First of all, it’s so laggy that I cannot even browse chrome. It takes me at least ten minutes to open chrome, search something, and be able to view a site, and I can barely scroll. When I type it’s so behind the words don’t show up for at least thirty seconds. IE 11 not working

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

Optical Drive Issue

Appreciate your detailed return. Your added steps really helped.

Assuming I did the steps correctly, this is where I am now.

Screenshot 12 shows my CD Disc shortcut on my desktop.
Screenshot 10 shows the CD Drive shortcut listed in the “Send to” listing.
Screenshot 11 shows the “Send to” listing after the steps were taken, but the CD drive name is not listed.

So, it appears the steps did not work for me. And, I did try the steps, “If it still won’t do ……” and still no luck.

What do you think?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
