Windows 10: Solitaire Collection cloud save

Very recently, the Microsoft Solitaire collection app on Windows 10 has changed some of the internal file structure used to store user settings and statistics.
The biggest change was that statistics no longer seem to be saved in "%localappdata%\packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection_etc".

I have been trying to reset statistic data on my cloud save, but can no longer use the old method that forced local data to be used rather than cloud data to download.
If there are any people savvy with the Win10 app platform, I would love to know where the new cloud save data is being moved to or stored.
It is worth mentioning that there is a file called "statistics.sgi" in the old directory, which is a different filetype to previously and does not update during or after any cloud data sync has occured.

I unfortunately am not able to dig enough to know if the "statistics.ark" save data is still in the packages directory and just hidden or if it has been moved to an entirely new location.
(No "*.ark" files exist or are found in the packages directory using explorer search functions.)

Microsoft Solitaire Collection


I created a Microsoft Account so that I could get data saved to the cloud, then looked at version of Solitaire Collection I had installed and it too is at 3.5.11021.1, but failing any other answers , I uninstalled the Microsoft Solitaire Collection and then went to store and reloaded it, got data synced, and still have only the 4 games under daily challenges.. Thanks for the reply, but guess I will have to live with what I got

Step 1: Run App troubleshooter.

Check this link for the app troubleshooter.

Step 2: Run Windows Update troubleshooter.

Please see this link for the steps.

Step 3: Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

Click Start.

In the search box, type Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

Right click Microsoft Solitaire collection app tile, and the select Uninstall.

Restart your computer.

Right click Start.

Select Run.

Type wsreset.exe, and then press Enter. The Microsoft Store will open so you can reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

Step 4: Make sure your firewall/anti-virus isn’t blocking the app.

The steps to unblock the game (or any app that needs to access Xbox Live) will vary depending on the antivirus or firewall software you use. Check the documentation for your antivirus or firewall software to open settings and ensure that the software is not
blocking the app. If your antivirus or firewall has an app white list, make sure that your Xbox Live-enabled games are on this list.

Step 5: Clear your Windows Store cache.

Right click Start.

Select Run.

Type wsreset.exe and press enter. This will launch Windows Store with a cleared cache. You can check if Solitaire error goes away after doing this.

Microsoft Solitaire Collection and Cloud Data on Windows 10

After upgrading my laptop to Windows 10, Microsoft Solitaire Collection says it's found new save data and starts downloading it from the cloud-- but it seems to never stop. After letting it sit for a long time, I gave up and closed the window. The next day,
same thing, so after a few days of this I just gave up on it.

After a few days I finally got the notice that Windows 10 was ready for my desktop, so I upgraded. Microsoft Solitaire Collection worked on it, so I figured it must have gotten fixed. Except today I'm trying to play it on my laptop and it's doing the "loading
cloud data" **** again, so I guess it's working on my desktop but not on my laptop. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it still says "importing save game data from cloud" and never seems to finish.

Is there some way to fix this, or do I just have to resign myself that I'll never get to play it ever again on my laptop? How come all of the other games can import save game data from the cloud on my laptop but Microsoft Solitaire Collection can't?
