  1. Solution for infinite reboots from "Scanning and repairing drive" on boot

Hi there,So, I was getting the aforementioned error on my laptop after having restored the Windows 11 installation I had using Clonezilla and expanding the Windows partition to fill the rest of the disk. This issue starts showing symptoms on the running system as unresponsive or seemingly nonexistent programs, "Restart to repair drive" notifications from "Security and Maintenance" and so on, so forth. This issue might even seep into your VMs, rendering them useless or unresponsive. Then, you reboot and the dreaded issue starts emerging: You're greeted with a message on boot that reads "Scanning

Scanning and repairing drive on every start-up

Recently, I had a start-up error with the "Reboot and select proper Boot device" message. I fixed it by unplugging and then plugging back in my drives, but since then it has been slow with starting up Windows, attempting to scan and repair an unknown drive before the login screen.

I need help to figure out which disk it is referring to and how to get rid of the scan and repair thing on start-up.

Windows Version Number: 1903 (OS Build 18362.900)

(Link to the previous thread: Scanning and repairing drive on every start-up
Tried the things listed there, but couldn't get much further. Was suggested to start this new thread...)

to the point where i can enter the command prompt to access the task i need to get the computer to perform

No I need to find out how to do it with no access to Windows and the list of other help some of them are dangerous

Scanning and repairing drive D at every boot

Hi guys, Everything was working fine until I turn Bitlocker back On again. Then the annoying 'Scanning and repairing Drive D' message appeared again at boot time. So this message has definitely something to do with Bitlocker. I guess if I turn Bitlocker back Off again, the message will disappear but it's not a solution to me, as I want to enable Bitlocker on this drive. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks guys
