Windows 10: solution for problems

1. I was using windows 10 build 1809 on my laptop along with windows 8.1. Last month windows 10 stopped booting. Now I am able to use only 8.1. The programs I installed in win 10 are working but win 10 is not showing up in the boot manager and not booting too. I tried to install win 10 afresh but each time it was rolled back. I want clear instructions to solve this and to be able to use win 10 again. Some answers I got on this page were not useful. Thank You

2. I have 44 GB free space on D but when I tried to shrink it, the query allots only 19 GB. I need at least 30 GB on the new volume. I tried some tips given in the Youtube but to no avail. Pls. give a proper solution. Thank You

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

im having the same problem as well, gone through all the steps listed but still no luck unfortunately.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
