    Greetings,


    I've been trying to add a system feature, among others is NetFx4-AdvSrvs, which fails with the above error. Now digging into this I noticed I kept getting the same error when running windows update.


    I tried running the update troubleshooter and it found some issues with the database and fixed them, but no mater what it says no updates get installed. Searching online also recommends running sfc but it fails with: "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service". I also tried with 2 scripts that resets the windows update services but nothing. I also tried adding the registry key for servicing with the version of windows but key is already there, with correct path.


    Right now in the windows update dialog I have: KB4487038, KB4462930, KB4134661 and Feature Update 1803 amd64 2019-04, nothing gets installed, same error on all even if I download the update package.

    System File Checker Corruption


    Hi All

    Discovered system file checker after removing Avast, offline repair so far not working the way I want it to, My drives are configured boot ssd, D for storage, yet the list in Command prompt on startup up shows X:\Windows, well tried C, D, X and still wouldn't run

    Already done 3 Clean installs of 1803, just want this solved, might try another online scan of sfc, and see if it can repair that way

    Waits for anymore advice

    Online scan only gets to 2 percent then stops

    Stated could not complete requested operation when I finally got offline system file checker to run
