SOLVED (critical process died) BSOD / freezes and crashes

When a system goes to sleep the monitor shuts off. However the monitor was still on projecting a black image. And when I restarted the system a error page came up, it was going too fast so I couldn't get a clear picture. But I attached the photo of what I managed to picture to this message

Most of the errors I can see is an ATA error. I can only assume it is a sata issue. You may first try replacing the sata cables. The Critical Process died is also often a hard drive problem. Which could be the Motherboard sata ports, data cables or the hard drive itself. The easiest and cheapest thing to replace would be the sata cables, which are very cheap.

I would also suggest you trying to go into bios, check and see what your sata controller is set to (IDE, AHCI or Raid), then set your bios to optimized defaults. After that go back and make certain your sata controller is set to whatever it is set to right now (or the computer will not boot). Make sure your boot devices are set the way they are now, Save and exit.

Checked the bios and its set to AHCI. I loaded optimized defaults and nothing changed. I got a different SATA cable, and connected it to a different slot. Connected it to my original (first) hard drive and I am not having any issues. Its only been 5 mins but ill post back if it crashes. I'm going to be so ashamed if this all happened because of a faulty SATA cable...

SOLVED (critical process died) BSOD / freezes and crashes

Good news: No more blue screens
    Bad news: Still freezes

It seems to be a thermal issue, if I leave the system turned off for a while then I can run it longer before it freezes vs rebooting right after a freeze. However I have no clue on how to monitor CPU temperatures. Hardware monitor doesnt show temps for my CPU, and neither does AMD hardware monitoring software. All it gives is thermal margins.
I tried to boot into bios right after a freeze, however it shows 46c so either it cooled down in 15 seconds or somethings wrong...

Do you know of any way to monitor temperatures for amd cpu's (fx 9590)?

Decided to change and add extra thermal paste on the CPU this time. Its now been a few hours and I ran the system through some heavy load games with no problems. Temperatures stayed below 70c the whole time. But compared to originally (crashing on startup) its far far better. Ill post back if any future issues arise but so far it looks like you solved my problem! Thank you! And thanks for the really quick replies and showing me Linux mint which ill use next time if I have issues.

I've tried and tested so many things and spent months on this issue with no luck. Its 3 years now that I had this problem since I first made the build. But agian thank you so much! Ive made many computers but never had these sort of problems.

For anyone wanting to know what helped, changing the sata cable and changing the thermal paste.

I'm glad you have fixed it, or at least I hope it is fixed. That is a hot running CPU and you always have to match the CPU cooler to the CPU and what you will do with it. If you remove the CPU cooler, you should always clean the old paste off and apply new thermal paste. I hope everything keeps working for you.

A new crash just occurred. Rather then freezing and not being able to do anything, now the screen goes black, however if i'm watching a video the audio still plays for 5-10 seconds then stops.

It looks like it probably isn't Dragon Naturally Speaking, but it is some type of speech or gesture recognition application.

I never installed Dragon Naturally Speaking or anything of the sort, nor is Dragon Naturally Speaking or anything of the sort in the control panel programs list. Could it be Cortana? Thats the closest thing I have to a voice recognition application however that comes with windows 10 peinstalled.
As for the audio drivers, I am getting a error when installing it through command prompt
"An error occurred trying to open - C:\Users\irowo\Desktop\dbddab75-9ca4-4ef4-aa1c-acdd2da84c89_8c9790080421b4ff104906398306e9541c5376c5.cab
    Error: 0x80070002"
I attached the log to this message

So instead I downloaded realtek audio drivers directly from their site
    Realtek

And I haven't gotten any freezes, however I did get the new crash agian just now

Have you made sure your computer is set p for small memory dumps? BSOD Minidump - Configure to Create in Windows 10

If so, look in C\Windows\Minidump and copy the contents to your Desktop (providing Admin permission all along) then zip the files up and upload them.

Also please run sfc /scannow. Please right click on the start icon and select Command prompt administrator, give admin permissions and copy/paste this into the window that opens and press enter sfc /scannow . If you decide to type it in, please notice the space between the sfc and the /. We want it to say no integrity violations were found. If it says there where corrupt files that could not be repaired, please reboot and run it again. You may have to run it 3 times with reboots in between each time.

I followed the minidump instructions, got a couple crashes, however there is nothing in C\Windows\Minidump. For the sfc /scannow I ran that 3 times with restarts in between however they all say "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"
