  1. SOLVED!!! Your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource XXXX...


    I have two computers - A & B. Until this morning A & B could connect to each others drives on the network. This morning things changed


    Computer A can connect to the drive on computer B


    Computer B cannot connect to the drive on Computer A

    Computer B can ping computer A.

    When I run diagnostic on computer B I get the message

    "Your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource A is not responding"

    Sharing on A is still set properly. On computer B I have checked the TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6 - both are set obtain IP & DNS addresses automatically and I did

    ipconfig /flushdns

    ipconfig /registerdns

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew


    And reboot but it was not fixed.

    Other suggestions?


    BTW - I do have a C computer on the network and A & B can access C and C can access A & B. The question is how to resolve it
