Windows 10: some apps prevent screen from locking

I use secpol to make my computer lock after 180 seconds. But ive noticed that if some apps are open (such as bluestacks or a youtube video) then the computer does not lock. what apps do this and how do i stop this from happening?

None of the Apps showing up on Lock Screen!

Nope that did not help. I guess the steps mentioned there are primarily for the issue of the Lockscreen Apps not being shown as an option in the Settings>Personalization>Lock screen settings page.

My issue is that even though i select those apps from the settings menu but they dont show any status on the Lockscreen.

You can also use the Photos app to set a different lock screen image. Follow these steps:

• In case a different app is set to open your images by default, right-click on the image instead, choose
  Open with then select Photos.
• Once you have the image open using the Photos app, click on the See more button (

• Choose Set as.
• Select Set as lock screen.
