Windows 10: Some apps randomly started crashing on launch just now (DCOM errors)

Closed down Gears 5 to make some food, now it won't launch. This is happening to a handful of apps and I have no idea why. Event viewer is showing DCOM errors. This happened a while ago too and only a reinstall fixed it, which I really don't want to do again.

Error is as follows:

The application specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} to the user PC[USER SID] from address LocalHost (via LRPC) running in the application container SID unavailable. This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative

I have a feeling something randomly got fucked, but I have no idea what. I already removed the WindowsApps folder on the drive that seems to have issues, but that didn't do anything. Moving the affected apps does nothing either, nor does reinstalling. DISM is no help, neither is sfc /scannow or wsreset.

Am I really screwed again? I hate how often Windows 10 is doing this kind of nonsense.

Windows store DCOM issue causing games to not start and instantly crash.

I keep getting DCOM server issues when trying to start windows 10 store games. Temporary fix I found is to download a random app and then launch the game but after awhile the game will crash and then when I try to restart it it will instantly crash until
I re-download another app. I checked the event viewer and it is related to the dcom server.
