  1. Some more feedback needed on Diskpart


    Hi all, I've recently done a clean Windows 10 installation using a Media Creation Tool created flash drive. I always look afterwards in Disk Management or Diskpart to see if the partitions are set up correctly. My clean installation method is always the same I delete all partitions first and then let Windows set up the partitions it requires.
    This is how my hard disk always looks in Diskpart when i Select Disk 0 and type Detail Disk.
    Volume 1 Recovery NTFS Partition 450mb Healthy
    Volume 2 C NTFS Partition 930GB Healthy Boot
    Volume 3 FAT32 Partition 100MB Healthy System
    If I select Volume 1 and type Detail Partition I get
    Partition 1
    Type
    hidden
    required
    attrib
    offset in bytes
    * Volume 1 Recovery NTFS Partition 450Mb Healthy
    Everything seems perfect so far

    However, if I do it another way and instead firstly I type list partition and Select Partition 1, then Detail Partition I see this
    Partition 1
    Type
    hidden
    required
    attrib
    offset in bytes
    * Volume 4 Recovery NTFS Partition 450Mb Healthy Hidden

    Does anyone know why the Volume in Partition 1 changes from Volume 1 in the first method to being shown as a Hidden Volume 4 when I select the Partition first in the second method.
    I wondered if other users are seeing the same on their systems if they have done a clean Windows setup allowing Windows to set up the partitions as required as I did. It may show differently if you have set up your own partitions...I don't know. I stumbled across this by accident and Im wondering if this is normal behaviour?

    We suggest you to check privacy settings in Windows 10. To do so, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key.
    • Type Privacy settings.
    • On the left pane, click Feedback and diagnostics.
    • Under Feedback frequency, Windows should ask for my data should be selected to
      Automatically.

    Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    • Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    • Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    • Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    • Go to Settings.
    • Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    • Select add someone else on this PC.
    • Enter a user name and hit next.
    • Click on Finish.
    • Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
