  1. Some of the keys on my keyboard aren't working

So, this issue started a couple of days ago without a clear start. I have a HP Notebook 15 (15-F233WM) that runs Windows 10.

I've never had any real problems with my keyboard before and it was running quite smoothly until suddenly, I noticed that the "n" stopped working. I was attempting to search something up but when I tried to press the "n" key, it was unresponsive. I thought it was odd but sometimes, crumbs, and other dirt and debris, may find its way underneath the key and stop it from working, so I took a slim object and gently dug under the key to remove some potential dirt and crumbs. After I did that, I pressed it again and it worked but not consistently. For an example, I'd press it twice, no response, but on the third time, it will respond. Sometimes I can press the key four times in a row successfully but on the 5th time, I'd get no response. Confused, I put it in sleep mode and then woke it back up. Still not consistent. At this point, I was annoyed and tested out my other keys and realized that the "b" wasn't responsive either.

Over the span of a few days, I learned that my caps lock key, "n", "b", "f12", "f8', and "=" key do not work consistently. I've already tried numerous different solutions:

    1) I restarted my computer and sometimes, I can get it working consistently for about a day, other times, restarting it is unsuccessful and sometimes they don't respond at all, causing me to restart again.

    2) I've updated my keyboard drivers with Driver Easy and after restarting it, my keys worked beautifully for about a day and then it regressed back to its finicky ways.

    3) I've pressed the Windows key and space key at the same time, as someone suggested that it could be a cure, and that was unsuccessful.

    4) I've tried uninstalling my keyboard drivers and rebooting my laptop twice and it worked for a few hours but regressed once more.

    5) I've tried installing a new language into my laptop as someone suggested that that could work, but it was unsuccessful.

    6) Lastly, I've tried turning off filter keys, to which they were never on in the first place (I simply turned them on and turned them back off) and that was a complete failure.

Enjoyment has been dimmed, thanks to this ongoing and annoying issue. Is there a way to fix this? I'm tired of this constant struggle to type on this laptop. Writing, though not impossible, is slowed down and time-consuming as I'm constantly pressing the same key over and over and over again in attempts to get it to work. I really don't want to have my keyboard replaced and I really don't want a new laptop. I don't recall doing an update or anything of that nature lately so this shocked me. Things are have become needlessly more complicated, which isn't something I need right now. Is there any other solutions that I should attempt? Is there a way that I can permanently fix this? Thank you for reading this. Any help is appreciated.

    :)

  2. Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...
