Windows 10: Some Windows Admin Tools close after a few seconds, WiFi networks don't show

HelloI was recently having some trouble with my WiFi connections. I performed a network reset and since then have run into more issues.Since doing the network reset, some issues I am having are:No wifi networks show Ethernet does work thoughSome admin tools close after being open for a few seconds e.g. changing WiFi adapter settings, the tab will disappear after a few seconds, System Restore window closes after a few seconds as well.Installer wizards close, so I can't reinstall any driversRandom applications close as well if I open a .rar file with WinRaR it will freeze and close after a

Windows won't forget WiFi network

I have 3 old Wifi networks that I want to get rid of in the list of networks. All devices show them in the WiFi list and when i click Forget, they come right back. When I go to Manage networks in Settings, they're not there, but still show in the list on every device. How can I get rid of them?

The first image is the list of networks. I want to remove the Blackwellhome ones. The second is obviously the Manage Networks in Settings.

 

Wifi Networks not showing

On my Laptop if I wanted to change the wifi connection I would always see a list of the available networks when I selected the Wifi icon on the task bar.
Since the last major update to Windows 10 I find that when I select the wifi icon I only see the current connection





To see other networks within range I have to open the 'Network settings' and choose 'Show available networks' - then they show up.





Does anyone have any explanation for this - or possibly a 'fix' to show them all from the taskbar again.

 

Windows 7 Snipping Tool / (Screen Shots-Capture)

1. In the Control Panel > Folder Options > View Tab first check ( tick ) the Show hidden files, folders and Drives and then Apply.
2. Now navigate to C:\ Program Data \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Start Menu \ Program.
   
3. Inside this Program folder , you will find the 'Accessories' folder.
4. Drag and drop the Accessories Folder on your Start Menu or All programs.

If all works again i suggest to go back to Step 1 and re-select Don`t show hidden files. folders and Drives then Apply. so you don`t accidentally delete some of these.
