Windows 10: Some WMP songs will not return to itunes library

    Some WMP songs will not return to itunes library


    Spent far to many hours trying to get some music that plays in WMP but does not show up in Itunes. If I look at the i tunes albums the song is there but grayed out and says "file location not found". Is there a way to have itunes and WMP sing all songs off the same "song sheet"

    Scanning Windows libraries halts with error code: 8300300B

    I am hesitent to do this as I have 200gb of music in iTunes I do not want to lose. I have read through the FAQ and it doesn't clearly tell me what is happening to my file structure when a library is deleted or restores.



    I had validated that WMP does work for syncing on it's own with same playlist that were imported from iTunes. BUT, I did see several songs that it skipped or ignored due to naming conventions. (Example: Gangnam Style with some doublebyte characters)



    The issue now is 2 days later, WMP doesn't even see my playlists on the device (even thought they are there).

    Windows 10 lost iTunes Library

    Hi,

    I recently purchased a computer with Windows 10 installed. I uploaded my music to the itunes library and listened to music all day. After one day, I returned to my PC and noticed some songs were not playing. I checked my music files and over half of my
    library is missing..

    Is there anyway to resolve this?

    When I try to access specific songs in itunes it says "file location not found" yet I can call the song up on wmp and listen to it.
    Sometimes when I list the album in itunes the song is missing and other times it is grayed out. I am trying to put music to a video but I can only do it through itunes. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have spent too much time watching facebook videos on how to sync these two programs
