Windows 10: Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again

Hello, It's unfortunately the same issue as the one described here.https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/something-happened-and-your-pin-isnt-available/2a50ca74-7205-42ea-bdd1-186848f0a034As suggested, deleted the NGC folder after experiencing the Pop screen asking to install the app. Now when the laptop gets rebooted it comes up with a completely blurry screen the windows 10 default background. After about 5 minutes screen become much clearer, but the two buttons for the Thumb Scanner app and Pin are no longer visible. The Ctrl+Alt+Del combo gives no response. It's complete

Pin Login not available and can't change or remove my pin

Hi Saschavan,

To help you disable your PIN login, kindly follow the steps below:

• Go to this location: Settings/Accounts/Sign-in options
• Check the PIN options and click the I forget my PIN available to click?
  
• Enter your password, it will prompt you to enter a new PIN.
• Click Cancel and your PIN should be disable upon reboot.

Since you have a Microsoft account, you should see this instead
Microsoft account sign-in options




If this doesn't work, there are other procedures available to consider.
--- Some of them include registry changes.
--- Are you familiar with working in the registry?

BTW, have you saved your data along with a system image backup ready?

"Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again". When I click on "setup PIN" it does nothing.

WIN 11 upgraded last night from WIN 10 by itself and now I can't get in to the PC. I only have one profile on the PC and I have tried a system fix in advanced options.

Does anyone have any suggestions?? Please help
