Windows 10: Something is emptying my inbox

Office 2016 imap, only one device accessing the server (that I know of !)

Checked my email this morning and the inbox was empty; sent box was intact
Made a copy of the .ost file (about 800mb).
Am able to receive emails, but not for long.
Looked at the .ost file with Steller OST to PST and all emails are marked as deleted.
Converted the .ost file to .pst and added it as a data file.
Data file Inbox now full, so copied all the emails to the imap inbox.
Inbox synchronized, but some time later the inbox emptied again.
Deleted and re-instated the account. Able to receive emails but disappear some time afterwards.
Tried importing from the converted data file inbox, but nothing happens.
No recent Windows updates.

At my wits end. Any clues what is happening here?

E72 - MFE - Inbox is empty

I got a user whos just recently upgraded to the E72.

After the inital setup of MFE, she noticed that her inbox was empty, I tried reinstalling the mailbox, restarted the E72, it didn't work.



I then tried putting her sim in my own E72, setting up the mailbox, using her settings, then my inbox got deleted and left empty.



I swapped SIM again, and was slightly going into panic as my inbox was still empty after I applied my MFE settings, a reboot however, fixed it.



Then I tried deleting/moving what was in her inbox on the PC, still no success.

I then tried putting the sim in a old E61 and this time it registrered a test email.

So the inbox seems to work on the E61 and not the E72 for some strange reason.



Has anyone heard of this before or have a guess at what to do?



-firmware, check

-MFE version, check

-reset/new phone, check

out of a roughly 30 users of the E72 with a similar setup, its the only account with this specifc issue.

D/l the patch but the dll file in there has a virus too...anyone else have a suggestion? thanks *Toast :toast:

The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).
