    I am unable to log in to my laptop account as I don't remember my PIN and my fingerprint doesn't work. I tried to set my PIN. After entering my Microsoft Account credentials, I see the "Are you sure you want to reset.." screen and when I click continue, I see an error message that "Something went wrong, we weren't able to set up your PIN. You can try again, or skip this step and set up a PIN later".I am locked out of my Admin account so I am unable to install anything new. The only thing that works is one guest account that doesn't have many permissions.Please let me know how to resolve this

    Windows Hello PIN Something went wrong. we weren't able to set up your pin.

    Surface book2; I got this message "Windows Hello PIN Something went wrong. we weren't able to set up your pin. You can try again, or skip this step and set up PIN later" since 2 years ago until now. I looked through all the suggested like NGC file, DISM command, gpedit.msc, and more. I really don't want to reinstall everything because it will cause more problem and time.

    please fix this problem.

    Not able to sign in using PIN

    Hello there,

    I switched on my laptop this morning, normally it would ask me for password, but now it is asking a PIN. It is not giving me other sign in options.

    I tried using forget PIN and added my gmail id and password, verified myself using the codes but in the end it is saying something went wrong sorry try again later.

    I also tried to create new Microsoft account , but in the end it is giving me same error -

    Something went wrong

    We weren't able to set up your PIN. You can try again, or skip this step and set up a PIN later.
