Windows 10: Sonic Studio III

Something I have noticed lately. A-Volute has fixed SS3 stability issues, when using different inputs other than Realtek. I like the EQ and effects that SS3 has, and use it when using HDMI(either from my Nvidia card or from my Intel CPU's integrated video driver). I connect and HDMI cable from on of the outputs to my soundbar, and the soundstage is greatly expanded, even if source material isn't Dolby(but in addition I use the Dolby Access app so Dolby is always on), but Dolby Access doesn't have an EQ for Home Theater's and soundbars like the Dolby Atmos for headphones does, so I use SS3. You need to turn Sonic Studio Link on for the effects to become active: It used to either crash or just stop putting out sound, but A-Volute seems to have fixed it. Now I have awesome sound when playing music either from local files, or from streaming from YouTube.

Sonic Studios 3 startup request

Hi

I have sonic studios 3 installed on windows 10

every time windows starts up i have 2 a user account has requested changes pop ups

and asking to allow SS3svc36.exe, and SS3Svc64,exe to make changes to computer

Why is this, can i stop it from asking

Im pretty sure it is related to Sonic Studios 3

Should i have installed as administrator (I am only user)

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

thanks for the reply

i followed your 1 option of uninstall and reinstall

and have same result, allow the following to make changes to your computer on start up

i then followed your second option

and can not see anything in the list which relates to Sonic studios or SS3Svc32 or 64.exe

there are several items remaining after hiding Microsoft services,

some which im happy to turn off but others id prefer to leave

Any suggestion would be appreciated

I have changed removed Microsoft account and now sign in with a local account

followed the above steps and unfortunately mo change

just strange that out of approx 15 items in the start up Apps menu

Sonic Studios is the only one requesting permission to make changes to my computer
