    Looking for a sound card to replace my aging x-fi fatality pro, Im currently hooked up using analog 5.1 to logitech z-5500 speakers so looking for something with analog hook up or onboard encoding for optical. Not looking for a external sound card.

    Recomend a good pair of earbuds to complement my laptop's external Creative Sound card for gaming and music?
    Had some sony earbuds and stepped on them >< So! Looking for some quality sound!

    Good surround sound headset

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Sound card recomendations :p
