Windows 10: Sound Drifting Out Of Sync With Video

Recently I've notcied the sound going out of sync on Netflix. Happens after 5 or 10 minutes, and is easily resolved by simply pausing for a second and restarting.

I've tried Netflix on two browsers and the same problem arises. I've also tried watching a private video on VLC and the same problem was there, although not as bad.

I have updated the drivers to my sound card (Intel(R) Display Audio and/or Realtek High Defintion Audio) and this did not fix the problem.

My suspicions are that it is probably related to the integrated graphics card (Intel(R) HD Graphics 530) however, since I have always had minor issues with it (screen going wonky whie browsing). I updated those drivers and the problem persists.

CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-6100 @3.7GHz

Am I looking at a hardware failture here?

Windows 10 audio/video syncing

Whenever I watch streaming video, the audio and the video get out of sync. Like I'll start to watch a movie and at first the lips are in sync with the sound dialog. But after a minute or two they start to drift apart. The sound is heard but the people's
lips don't start to move until seconds later. What can I do to correct ?

I'm currently trying to replicate the problem (by having restarted Windows, which causes it to not hibernate and instead boot up from scratch, which has so far caused the audio sync drifting) before I try the suggested solution in order to corroborate that
it fixes the problem, but it's not cooperating with me right at this moment (so far, ironically, all YouTube videos I have tried so far have synced without problems). Well, I will keep trying. I think it does exactly this sometimes, ie. it will work for a
while, and then the drifting starts happening. I will make a new post if I manage to replicate the problem and then try the suggested solution.

The exact version of Windows I have at this moment is Version 1903 (OS Build 18362.175).
