    Sound drivers problem- This device cannot start. (Code 10) The request is not supported.


    I downloaded drivers for sound by website for my motherboard and sound didn't work. the only working audio jack is on my monitor. So I decided to solve this with driver easy PRO version and i updated all my drivers but sound still doesn't work. I have on board audio devices enabled in BIOS so that is not the case. I have tried add legacy hardware and all that stuff in device manager. also realtek hd audio manager doesn't open so i tried to re-install it a couple of times but it didn't help. I would be grateful for any answer.

    Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.

    my bios is and custom unlocked bios (latest version) (thanks to Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source ) because of lenovo hardware whitlist maybe thats causing the problem???

    NVIDIA High Definition Audio on each one, it says the correct and latest drivers are installed - I'm defeated!! Also under this category is: C-Media PCI Audio Device (shown as working properly) and VIA HD Audio (also shown as working properly) but my Logitech
    Webcam microphone does not work and the playback audio is 'weak' ...Any help would be much appreciated...
