  1. Sound issues, Windows 10

    Good day

I get the following message when trying to play music on Windows Media Player:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program or it might not be functioning properly'.

After I close the application, I get a little red cross at the bottom by the speaker icon with the message ''The Audio Service is not running'. If I open the troubleshoot, it just keeps detecting problems but doesn't fix anything.

After that, I get an option to activate audio driver, but still nothing happens and I have no sound on my laptop.

All the drivers etc has been updated to the latest software. What else can I do to fix my sound?

    ***Modified Title from: Sound Problem***
