Windows 10: Sound Not Working

I have a problem with my sound it shows a red x next to it after I updated it. It says No audio output installed and I tried installing it but it says A device attached to the system is not functioning. It says speaker setup unknown. I just plug my headphones in there and watch something but it doesn't work when I plug my headphones in. I took out the wire from my computer and from my pc and plugged it back in my pc and computer and it still doesn't work. I don't know what to do. I look at so many videos on Youtube but they don't fix my problem.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

• Select Playing Audio under Sound.
