    Sound Settings Issue

I've asked about this multiple times on the Skype forum, but am now starting to think it's a Windows problem. I've been having a recurrent problem with Skype "forgetting" my speaker between calls:

When this happens, my speaker which is an audio interface connected to computer speakers is still correctly selected in Skype. I've recently updated its drivers BTW. Restarting my computer DOES fix the issue temporarily. However, in Windows audio settings, for some reason my USB microphone is listed as a disabled audio device:

I'm wondering if somehow these strange settings are confusing Skype. But I'm unable to delete the Yeti Stereo Microphone as a "speaker." How can I completely and forever DELETE it as an "output device"?

Are there any other changes to sound settings which might resolve this issue?

    :)

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Sound Settings Issue :p

  3. Sound issues on Windows 10 as it plays incorrect sound settings.

    Hi,

I appreciate if you could answer a few questions to narrow down to the issue.

    • Which player are you using to access the songs?

    • Did you make any changes to the sound settings?

    • Did you try a different player?

    • Is the issue specific to certain type of files?
As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to refer to the article provided below and check if that helps.

Hope the information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance. We will be happy to help.

    Sound Settings Issue

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
