    sound stops on headphones when PC goes to sleep and wakes up again


    If I have headphones plugged into my laptop, then close the lid or go away and then it sleeps - the sound stops working on the headphones until I fully shut down not restart the computer and start it again.

    What should I try?

    Waking from sleep

    Since the new build 1803 when my PC goes to sleep it won't wake up. I have to power off and reboot. Any suggestions as to how to stop this? Presently I have turned off the PC sleep but this is just until someone comes up with a solution.

    Maybe you have something configured to sleep when idle. Check that on your power settings.
