Windows 10: Space bar not working - HP Pavillion 360

    Space bar not working - HP Pavillion 360


    Today I spilled powerade on my hp pavillion x360. I cleaned it off, and made sure all of the keys were working they were. A few minutes later, i notice that my space bar is no longer illuminated, and it is delayed when I press it. what happened? did the key short out? if so, how do i fix it?

    Win10/HP Pavillion - PIN "unavailable"

    Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

    PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
    followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

    Suggestions?.

    Hi Regina,

    There are different reasons why your space bar and other keys are not responding.
    For us to properly isolate your concern, we'd like to know the following:

    • When was the last time that your space bar and other keys were working?
    • Have you made any changes on your machine prior to this issue?
    • Have you installed all pending updates on your machine?
    • What is the build and version of your Windows?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you run a
    quick test scan
    first on your computer to check for possible errors.
    You can visit your computer manufacturer’s website to access their
    Diagnostic Tool. The tool will help us determine if the issue has something to do with the hardware or software of
    your computer. If an error is detected, it will automatically fix and recommend other troubleshooting steps to resolve your issue.

    Space bar not working - HP Pavillion 360

    External speakers not working on HP Pavillion

    We have 2 PCs, one Lenovo and one HP both windows 10

    2 sets of speakers from different manufacturers - both work on the Lenovo

    Neither will work on the HP

    I have followed the advice on the other posts and nothing will get the Speakers working on the HP Pavillion

    Any help please?
