    Spartan SKY GO stream / DRM Videos not working (SILVERLIGHT issue)


    Hi there.

    @Mods - perhaps you could move this post to the one in Browsers as there's already a good thread on SPARTAN.

    SPARTAN Browser not enabling Silverlight -- seems no plugins can be enabled. DRM streams won't work currently.

    IE11 ====>OK working fine (Build 10049). (Top screenshot) (SKY Sports 4 stream)

    SPARTAN -- ===>NOK Wants Silverlight although altready installed.

    On Spartan the app keeps asking for "Install / Update Silverlight" even though it's installed.
    IE11 App works fine Screenshots shown -- even though SKY hasn't even HEARD of W10 !!!!!! -- don't even THINK of using their help(less) Desk !!).

    Added -- same issue with BT Sport streams.

    Silverlight not working on Windows 10

    Hi,

    So my sky go wasn't working so I uninstalled Silverlight then reinstalled an older version, sky go still didn't work and I needed to update Silverlight again but now I cant get the update so I uninstalled Silverlight again went to install the newest version
    and that wont install either. So now my laptop has no Silverlight, I have been on the windows website and followed the fixing advice but still no luck. Someone please help !

    Also if anyone knows how to get sky go to work that be brill too (been attempting sky go on both IE and firefox) but main focus is Silverlight right now. Will resetting it to factory settings work ???

    I have a brand new hp laptop with windows 10.

    Please help !

    While trying to use sky go, error "unexpected exception in network layer"

    having the same issues on a Mac so it's definitely a Silverlight and not a browser issue.

    90% of the time if I have an issue with Sky Go it's a Silverlight issue.
