Speccy - Incorrect ldentified SSD switched to Belarc Advisor

I've been using Speccy for years, always loved and trusted it, until today. I just purchased (NOS in sealed box) new Dell XPS-8920 and before even power on I left primary SSD (on motherboard) then removed HDD and added three brand new Samsung 860 1TB EVO SSD's all purchased together, same lot no., firmware, etc. Upon start up I added a few programs including latest Speccy. Besides the small onboard SSD it did recognize three new SSD's but listed two as Samsung SSD and third as WD SSD. My first reaction I was "scammed" by seller of SSD but upon second look it definitely was three Samsung I installed.
I uninstalled Speccy and downloaded / installed Belarc Advisor which identified all three SSD's as Samsung no problem. I do admit I liked the power-on and hours run counters which Belarc lacks but has so many other useful features. This is first time I used Belarc and I'm very pleased with it so far.

    :)

  2. Belarc Advisor on Windows 10

Belarc Advisor is not up to date on your computer. Download the current version. But you don't have to use it to find out your version of Windows.

Type "winver" in Start/Search and hit Enter.

If you want to view your product key, update Belarc or use Keyfinder (also free). The key shown is the same for everybody upgrading to Windows 10.

  3. Should I Be Concerned and Extra Cautious

I copied and pasted to Word your checklist. I even numbered the steps. I should have asked if the order is critical, e.g., these steps should be done in the order listed?

10 Run Belarc Advisor and print out the system inventory it provides.
11 Remove any 3rd-party anti-virus software, hard drive monitoring software, and Speccy if you have it.
12 Run Ccleaner Free on the registry.

    thanks

Win 10 Pro not recognized by Belarc Advisor

I installed Win 10 Pro over Win 7 Ultimate. Belarc Advisor says I am using WIN 8. Is this a problem? If so, what do I do?
