Windows 10: Specific random beeps on Windows 10

My girlfriend is an artist and has recently discovered a potential problem. When using her art program FireAlpaca, trying to open a file triggers three consecutive beeps from the laptop speakers as the window opens. Nothing seems 'wrong' per se but it has just recently happened and we don't like to take risks. It is unknown if this scenario produces the same effect on other programs as it is the only one used since it started happening.


It doesn't happen every time, but a solid 8 times for every 10. More than enough to bring it to attention.


For reference, all updates are installed, drivers up to date, etc. No viruses or malware, no problems at all aside from this.

Laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 7000, factory setup (no modifications at all)


Any help or advice would be welcomed.

Random beeping on my computer

Please help. My computer has been making weird and random beeping noises. It does not happen on start up, it is random. I have googled everything. I have no idea what it could be. I've tried a lot of things. When I mute the computer, the beeps go away. PLEASE
HELP ME THIS IS SO ANNOYING.

This happened after I installed Windows 10.

Dont know about beep beep but i often get a random single beep when traveling i thought it was something to do with the signal .

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
