Windows 10: SPOTIFY app from Windows store freezes Windows 10 when opening or closing

The Spotify app from Windows store freezes the cursor in Windows 10. I have tried to fix it, reset it, uninstall and reinstall and every thing Spotify support gave me and still it happens 95% of the time. Any Answers?

Spotify app causes complete system freeze when opened

Starting up the Spotify app causes my computer to simply freeze as is and is unrecoverable except through reset/holding down the power button. It happens with the store app AND the desktop app downloaded from the Spotify website.

I'm running fully updated Windows 10.

Steps tried so far:

- Spotify support can't help.

- Event Viewer shows Spotify.exe stopped interacting with Windows, but not much else.

- Resetting/reinstalling the app temporarily fixes the problem, but restarting the PC/close and reopening the app brings it back.

- All relevant troubleshooters run

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
