Windows 10: SQL Server 2019 installation errors

I am learning SQL server. So I downloaded developer edition. During the installation there were some errors. So I uninstalled I had used Revo Uninstaller trial version. First the installation had errors then uninstall had some errors like this it kept happening(I did 2-3 times install and uninstall). At last I did following Code: 1. Uninstall all SQL Server components using Control Panel -> Programs and Features 2. Backup the registry. 3. Delete the following keys in regedit: --HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server --HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer 4. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and delete all the sub-keys referencing SQL Server. 5. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services and delete all the keys referencing SQL Server. 6. Deleted all the SQL Server folders in the computer C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server and subfolders. What ever I found from control panel was uninstalled already. Now did a fresh installation. But I got errors again Code: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Setup ------------------------------ The following error has occurred: Unable to open registry key: 'Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\150\Bootstrap', registry may be corrupted. upgrade feasibility from SQL Server 2008 to 2019

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to upgrade legacy applications from SQL Server 2008 / Windows 2008R2 to SQL Server 2019 / Windows 2019

SQL Server 2008 Enterprise -> SQL Server 2019 Enterprise

SQL Server 2008 Standard -> SQL Server 2019 Standard

SQL Server 2008 Express -> SQL Server 2019 Standard

We will also be deploying .NET 2.0 code of 4.7.2 framework (Windows 2019) .

Please advise if there will be any feasibility / compatibility issues for the same.
