    How do I fix the error "the ordinal 1 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\windows\system32\sqlunirl.dll"

    As Vsvhelden said:

    You must copy this dll file to the directories where the following sql exe files resides.

    "Enterprise Manager" -> C:\Windows\System32\mmc.exe /s "

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\BINN\SQL Server Enterprise Manager.MSC"

    "Query Analizer" -> "

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn\isqlw.exe"

    In my case I copied this file here:

    C:\Windows\System32

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Binn\Resources\1033

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Binn

    All is ok.

    The problem where in a new install setup stops in the installing MDAC still unknown.

    c:\windows\system32

    As said before: On a 64-bit system, copy the file to c:\windows\syswow64 (or to the directory in which the EXE file is).

    Can I uninstall "Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable", Microsoft SQL Server, and prerequesite for SST?

    But i don't use SQL Server and I don't use SQL Server Management Studio.
