Windows 10: srttrail.txt error - bootres.dll -

So I have the srttrail.txt issue. I was watching video on youtube on my 2 months old Dell laptop with it's Windows 10 OS. The audio went off, so I closed the web page and restarted my laptop. It went straight to the blue screen with the automatic repair options. I've looked a bit online, I've tried a few options. It diagnoses, attempts repair, says it couldn't automatically fix my issues, gives me the srttrail.txt log file.

I tried a reset, it's a new laptop so I have no files to lose. Couldn't complete the reset.

I tried system restore, it finished, then says: "system restore did not complete successfully, your computer's system files and settings were not changed. Details: an unspecified error occured dunring system restore (0x80070003)"

I tried a Startup Repair: "couldn't repair your pc" - "log file: D:\Windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt\Srttrail.txt"

I managed to read the log file and discovered that the bootres.dll file is corrupted.

I made a bootable usb with windows 10, and couldn't install to any of my drives (i have a 250gb ssd where my os is supposed to be installed, and a 1tb hdd, both seem to be in gpt mode)

I've run a checkdisk for both drives, they've turned up healthy

I tested the ram and it turned out fine too

And really, I'm not that computer savvy

I'm stuck.

Generating a .txt based file list in Windows 7

No, that > bla.txt is the target file to write to. You could use a wildcard in the argument, ie c:\windows\*.txt which would list all dlls in c:\windows. But adding that to a simple right-click would be tricky.

Basically you would execute fancyfile.bat c:\windows\*.txt, fancyfile.bat would then write all .txt files to bla.txt.

srt\srttrail\.txt problem .... but

Hello guys, I have encountered the srt\srttrail\.txt problem but with a slight variant ... I can't access the startup settings ...once I follow the usual path until the part where you press restart so that the menu will appear after rebooting, my computer
boots 'normally' and starts automatically the reparation, without giving me any choice !

I did not recently instal any hardware, but I have logitech wireless mouse, I heard the problem might be about drivers with wrong signatures ..

I need your help guys, and I'm not the only one having this problem ..
