SSD 100% Active Time leading to Windows 10 crash

My laptop's SSD spikes to 100% usage with 0 read/write in the task manager leading to Windows freezing and eventually crashing after 2-4 minutes. Some observations:The issue mostly occurs when I leave my laptop idle for a few minutes. The task manager keeps updating the stats but can't change tabs on it either otherwise it freezes toSSD 100% Active Time leading to Windows 10 crash o_On the resource monitor, after the issue occurs, the programs using the disk disappear. The system automatically reboots after the crash and when it does, there's an error 'Boot device not found'. I have to power off the laptop and then power it back on again for it

SSD Active time 100%, crashes Windows 10

    Hello everyone,

I have recently upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10.

After 10 minutes of starting up my computer, my active time on my SSD goes to 100% and freezes and crashes my computer!

I have tried disabling Superfetch and Windows search, but none have worked!

Any ideas how to fix this issue?

    SSD Disk Active time 100%

    Hi,
I have a relatively fresh installation of Windows 10 but it often gets very laggy.
    - Any window takes a while to open
    - Even typing on the keyboard has a delay
    - Programs not responding

I did the usual checks such as
    - Antivirus / Antispyware
    - Drivers update

I noticed that my C: SSD disk is often at 100% "Active Time". There are some processes writing/reading from the SSD but that something the SSD should handle without freezing the entire OS.

SSD 100% Active Time leading to Windows 10 crash

    SSD Disk Active time 100%

Ok, that's great you've got your disk activity down- but is it permanent- solved? Good news about AHCI too. Would have been difficult if not.

I've run the same test on my SSD (see my specs) - write performance appears very poor though.

Perhaps I'd prefer to believe these figures from Crystal Diskmark- try this program and see if you get different results. (The tests may not be precisely identical...).
