Discus and support SSID fix in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Recently made some updates to my Lenovo PC and since then have had internet connectivity problems.     SSID fix


    Recently made some updates to my Lenovo PC and since then have had internet connectivity problems. Restored computer to it's most recent restore point and that solved the connectivity problem but I continue to see the wireless network which I'm connected to, incorrectly named in the taskbar when hovering over the connection icon. In this case, I see my correct SSID but it is then followed by the number 3, ex. JohnHancock 3. I've already deleted that network from the wifi settings "manage known networks" section and then reconnected. Each time, it continues to add the 3 after the SSID name. Has anyone experienced this before and can provide some feedback?

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    Windows 10 SSID not showing up

    My WIFI router has 2 speeds and 2 SSIDs but when I look at available networks the hi-speed SSID doesn't appear in the list. Any idea why?
