Windows 10: Start menu and settings are not responding.

I upgraded with windows 11 22H2, but there was some problem with the drivers so I installed them manually but now my star and some other taskbar icons are not working, also not able to go into settings, there are also no notifications. Start process from task manager is gone and I don't know how get it back.

You need to go one step further...

Settings >Personalization > Start, then click as shown by the RED square...

start menu does not respond can go to edge icon to access windows help start menu suggest go to ms-settings and check ok response was could not find, ran troubleshooter response was required applications are not installed correctly-not fixed. this has
happened in the past and usually fixes itself at some point. help also suggest checking for updates but do not know how to access check for updates?

This issue might have occurred if you have disabled the settings icon from the Start Menu. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

  Click Start, type
  Start settings and click the Start settings in results
  
• 
  Click "Choose which folders appear on Start"
  
• 
  Enable "Settings" toggle button.
