    Start menu and settings

Hi , i recently upgraded my windows 10 version from 1903 to 1909 with update assistant. I got to the point where the update asks you whether to upgrade now or later and choose later. i later on restarted to upgrade (which was incredibly faster than normal updates) but then when my laptop started i could not access the start menu or the settings app. Also some windows program files could not be accessed and always gave this error

'' this file does not have an app associated with it, please install or locate a file associated with it'' or '' you currently dont have permission to get access this folder''.

I then searched online for solutions and Tried a SFC scan with CMD as admin which at first gave me this error

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them

I then run the same command on powershell with admin rights which gave me this result
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations

All this has not helped me . Still cant access settings and start menu. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

    :)

Windows 10 Start menu is empty

Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?
