    Start menu

    So...Firstly, windows start menu, notification bar and search bar were not opening...I tried some methods but didn't work. Lastly, I had to reset my pc with keeping personal files.. But when the reset process completed above mentioned problem was fixed but I'm having bigger problem now.. Start menu 66efc35c-af37-418f-9db2-d6a929edda38?upload=true.png

    As you can see applications are not showing icons and nor are they opening...I have Microsoft store pinned to taskbar but still it is not opening.. Though, Microsoft office was also not working but I downloaded it from my account subscriptions so it is working again...But the problem of other applications not working still persists...I would be really thankful if anyone can find me solution to this without reset, I have already done it twice.

    I also tried these solutions, DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    Ran SFC scan with CMD administrator, Nevertheless, this problem is still stinging me.

    I'm a student and my online classes are going on but this problem is like headache so please please any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Start menu is empty

    Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?

    Start menu not working

    I found the following article, ran the suggested powershell command and my start menu is working again. Here it is as I found it:
    Go to Start menu button and right click on it. This will open the contextual menu, after which you need to select Command Prompt (Admin). Once Command Prompt is open, go ahead with the following steps.

    • Type and enter: Powershell
    • Type the following: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
