Windows 10: State of Decay 2 PC -- Character keeps moving one direction randomly

I installed State of Decay 2 a couple days ago on PC. The character I'm controlling seems to get stuck running randomly, and then it stops anywhere from within a few seconds, to not stopping. They do stop when I open a menu, but continue once it's closed. I haven't figured out how it happens, or how to stop it.


A controller isn't plugged in, I'm using mouse/keyboard. Tried unplugging USB mouse out/it, and it doesn't stop the movement. This hasn't happened in any other game.


I only found one other thread mentioning this, but it was for Xbox. Game is basically unplayable in this state, any help would be appreciated.

State of Decay 2 no download

Open the Microsoft Store

Click the ellipsis in the top right corner of the screen (...)

Click My Library

Scroll through the list then click the State of Decay 2 app if its listed there, then click the download button.

Having a corrupted Xbox profile is one of the possible reasons it keeps freezes when you are accessing the game State of Decay 2. To help you resolve this concern, I recommend that you perform the steps below:

Step 1: Remove your profile on the Xbox One:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Account
   > Remove accounts.
3. Select the account you want to remove (the one that’s experiencing the gameplay issue), and then select
   Remove.

Step 2: Clear Mac address:

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings.
6. Select Advanced settings.
7. Select Alternate MAC address.
8. Select Clear.
9. Select Restart. Access the game again and check if the same instance occurs.
   

Step 3: Re-add your profile on your Xbox One:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select
   Add new.
3. Type in the email address and password that you use to access your Microsoft account (the same account that you just removed).

State Of Decay 2 PC NO SOUND

When I play state of decay 2 on pc there is no sound??? I tried restarting the game and still no sound. The sound on my desktop is fine just not in game? Even with messing with the settings there was no fix. Help please
