Windows 10: Sticky notes in task bar

I just installed the latest Windows 10 update, now every page of my sticky notes shows up in the task bar separately. I have six pages of Sticky Notes, so this is totally annoying.

Sticky notes disappeared

Thank you but nothing you suggested helped. I cannot create new sticky notes. When I click on the sticky note icon on my task bar nothing happens. I'm at a loss. And why would this happen right after an update.

Sticky notes may have encountered a system file corruption that caused this. We suggest that you run the

Windows app troubleshooter for this issue. Meanwhile, we also recommend that you reset your Sticky Notes app by following the steps below:

• Click the Windows icon and click Settings.
• Click System, and then click Apps & features on the left menu.
• Click on Sticky Notes on the list found on your right menu, click
  Advanced options link, and click the Reset button.
• Click the Reset button again when you see the confirmation dialog to reset Sticky Notes app.
• Close the Settings window and check your Sticky Notes app.

Unable to access sticky notes

My sticky notes have disappeared, the application shows on the task bar with a red underline but I am unable to load it or create a new note. I have added the Windows Ink Workspace to the task bar as suggested in another post but when I select sticky notes
the screen is transparent (I can see the previous application I was using, and there is a red box in the top right hand corner with an X which is the only option available and this does exit me back to the previous application. I have no access to my sticky
notes and have important information on them.

Can any one suggest a solution
