    Heya!

There is few old posts from this same matter like

I still have same issue.. i just changed from W7 Ultimate to W10 Pro and X540-T2 just dosnt work.. Windows regonizes nic itself no problems and logs says everything is fine..

In W7 it worked just fine.. after updating to W10 it stopped working.. nic finds cable connected from hardware side but windows as of software side dosnt find it.. i have tested older drivers for it and now i have newest drivers , 25.. nothing..

I also have server where is W10 Pro 1809 and bit older drivers... in server it was just threw it in and everything was fine.. no problems there..

at this point in this main pc i cant go to that same 1809 model and test it out because this installation went directly to 1909 model..

    So.. what should i do?

I have 10 gbit network i would like to use.. :

    :)

  2. Windows 1709 10 Gbit card not showing up (X540-T2)

My Intel X540-T2 card will not show up any more in the Device Manager. Previously it would show up and I would disable/enable it to get it working on every reboot. I installed the latest Intel PROWin64 drivers and they don't pick up the card.

It stopped working when I installed a BIOS update for my ASUS Z270-WS motherboard.

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
