Windows 10: Still listed in the notification area

So I had to uninstall an A/V program because I am using another one. I went in to my System > Notification & actions > clicked on Select which icons appear on the taskbar and down on the list the A/V is still there though it has no icon picture; just a blue square box. My new A/V is listed and doing just fine.

Is there something that Windows 10 does that clears out any old remnant of programs listed here that I can run?

The Topic starter is talking about a Lumia 950XL.

That is a Known issue/bug with Windows 10 mobile. this is as you mentioned actually the Gestures & Touch app

There a few apps (internal things like the Gadgets app,Gestures & Touch app, Groove etc etc) that can cause these cryptic description under the notification settings.

It's does show on my 950's and 950XLs running production and insider builds also.

 

If you just uninstalled, if R-click and 'Unpin from taskbar' doesn't do it, just try to restart or shut down and restart.
