    Greetings all.
    So, here we are in the year of our lord 2018 and the "Show Translucent Selection Rectangle"
    bug lives on.

    Perchance someone knows of a hack or program that can right this long-standing wrong?

    Selecting desktop gives a white outlined box instead of blue transparent box

    FYI:

    And the specific setting is "Show translucent selection rectangle" - To be enabled.

    Greetings Brink,
    those options didn't work for me in Windows 7 or 8, and now years later it's the same case with 10.

    The bug has become a tradition at this point. It's kind of a small wonder that no one has cooked up a hack in all this time.
