    STOP CODE Inaccessible BOOT device


    I am on Windows 10....it was installed over Win 7 a few years ago.

    Last week I got BSOD for iastor .

    I was told to rename the driver in Sytem32/drivers to iastor.sys.old, seemed fine after & worked


    Today I decided to restart comp b/c it had been on for days, just to refresh.

    I did not see any message about an update.

    Now have BSOD for inaccessible device.

    The solutions say boot to USB boot device.


    I don't think I have that. Win 10 is not on a disk.

    Have no idea how to get into my comp now.


    C drive is SSD..has programs

    all my doc & image files are on secondary drive E

    I may have an Acronis backup on there but not sure
