Windows 10: Stop error code: Security_Check_Failure after failure to start ubisoft uPlay - issue is...

I was having trouble with uplay from Ubisoft failing to open so I went to start>restart and got a blue stop code error message.


Searching for this issue I found a past issue where it was related to unapplied cumulative windows update and upon checking windows update I found that there was a 6/2019 .NET Framework update pending.


So uplay failing to start may be related to the .NET framework needing an update and caused this error.


The problem went away with install of the .NET update, but I'm reporting as a possible issue with ubisoft uplay and .NET cumulative date 6-2019

In any case this stop error is fixed by restarting and installing the .NET update I'm posting this as informational.


I'm going to cross-post this at ubisoft forums as well in hopes that someone else who encounters this would be helped.
