    Stop facebook sending texts everytime yo logh in


    This may not be the place to ask.. I won't have a bar of Facebook but my wife uses it and every time now it wants a text message verification to log in. She can't see how/where to stop it and I've had no luck either, even with wikiHow. And it wasn't clear whether it stops the text getting through, or stops fb sending them/needing them.

    Even how to contact fb to ask them could be handy.

    Welcome to the TenForums @CMOORE100

    Did you clear the auto complete cache after making the changes?

    File => Options => Mail => Sending Messages Section => Empty Auto Complete List (These are steps for 2013, your may be slightly different).

    Once clear try resending with Plain Text.

    I can receive texts but cannot send any texts.

    Does it happen on every text you try to send?

    If you are in a different area (so it is a different cell tower) will it work?

    What device do you have?

    What is the OS?

    Have you gone to your cell provider and asked if there is an issue?

    Is the number you are trying to send a text to listed as a contact and is the number listed as "mobile" ?

    Try this:

    Turn off International assist
    • Go to Settings > Applications > Phone.
    • Turn off International assist.

    If that does not work then see if this helps:

    Change your mode from LTE & CDMA to CDMA
    • Go to Settings.
    • Now go to Cellular.
    • Find Mode Selection option and change it from LTE & CDMA to CDMA.
    After doing this you should be able to send text messages.

    The last thing I would suggest is to perform a factory reset

    This is the last solution if nothing else works.
