Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

 

Minecraft - This account does not appear to own minecraft or have PC Gamepass

Hi,

I bought Minecraft a few years ago and have just installed it on a new PC via the Microsoft Store, when I login to the store with my account and then install the game, it works with no issues, however, when I try and login to Minecraft.Net it looks like I do not own a copy of Minecraft, or other Minecraft applications that link to my Minecraft account, I get an error that starts "this account does not appear to own minecraft or have PC Gamepass".

I do own Minecraft as I am able to download and install from Microsoft Store, can you fix this issue for me as I should not have to buy another copy of the game to get it working.

Gamepass for family member

I have managed to work it out but not happy with the way I did it.

I temporarily disabled Ask to Buy and unblocked all websites in Microsoft family account settings to do it. Have turned them back on now.

Also it's not cool we have to pay for Gamepass twice to play together. He is part of my family account. But he can't play or download games from the Xbox App unless he has it. We are trying to play Minecraft / Dungeons, Human Fall Flat and Moving Out etc.
I have just setup his first PC, so just trying to have some fun together.
