    Stop Tracing Code


    Today attempting to start Edge the screen would open half size then load Outlook then return to MSN. When I tried to widen the screen it recycled to Edge then close Edge. After 2-3 times I get a message that says " go to MSN for stop tracing code "
    Any ides please

    The code can sometimes be found on the sales receipt and on the box.



    If you have neither then there is nothing that can be done.



    Even if you give them the code they cannot disable or trace the phone. All they can do with the code is black list the phone which will stop it working on most European networks. It will work in most countries outside of Europe. The thief will have full
    access to your data unless you protected it by enabling the phones security before it was taken.

    Stop Tracing Code

    Hmmm...this is a first for me. Usually a tracing code error will cause a BSOD. Does it exhibit the same problem when in safe mode?

    I'm sorry I don't know where safe mode is located on Windows 10.

    After I wrote the original post the system just restarted by itself a few times and now all is ok. The only thing I can think of is that on the initial program load it did not load the entire Edge.
