Windows 10: Stopcode: Video scheduler internal error - blue screen using skype - MSI GS63VR

Hello everythime I use skype it's causing the blue screen of death whenever it feels like it. First there is a buzzing sound, then it freezes, then it goes blue, The error message includes 'Stopcode: Video scheduler internal error', it gathers data and reboots. The MSI is pretty fast rebooting as it is solid state, but there are lots of documents to re-save and re-open after every crash.


I have read that having your drivers updated helps to solve this issue, but I regularly update my drivers and it does not seem to help. I have also read to post the minidump data, but I can't attach files to this question.

I teach English using skype so I can't work with skype causing the blue screen of death whenever it feels like it. After 3 crashes (2 of which were blue screen) I removed the skype app and reinstalled it. It was OK for a short while then did it again.
First there is a buzzing sound, then it freezes, then it goes blue, (The error message includes 'Stopcode: Video scheduler internal error'), it gathers data and reboots. My one-hour teaching schedule goes to hell, as I can't do the next class on time.
The Lenovo is pretty fast rebooting as it is solid state, but I still can't keep my schedule as I am losing 10 minutes every time as there are lots of documents to re-save and re-open after every crash.

I have a couple of days without classes now, but then I'm screwed again! As it only happens every few hours it is not easy to test if a solution works. I don't want my students to be my guinea pigs. I would like to do everything possible to ensure it
does not happen again.

Does anyone have any ideas please? Thank you in anticipation.
